For sure, if Americans were to start taking football (“soccer”) seriously they’d have a large pool of people to choose from. Then again, China has over a billion people and still their national football team is a shambles. Since Americans in general snub “soccer” in favour of American football, however, they lack the passion and commitment to support an A-level team. Unless America were to undergo a major shift in its mentality towards soccer, it will never have the drive to succeed.

why not america has a population of 300 million ppl. Our black population alone is bigger than all of Netherlands combine and their not even the largest minority. I think it is more impossible to make them play soccer in a serious level than winning the World cup.
